ABOUT THE PROJECT

Pearl Studios has been a long-time client – over 12 years. I inherited the former website and had been adding and adjusting it over the years. After the pandemic, the owner finally decided it was time for an upgrade.

I think we came a long way from the initial site – it was not responsive, was running on outdated code and was also visually outdated.

He liked the interactive nature of the floor plans from the old site so we kept that but made it fresh and less clunky (even though I designed the original images as well – we all grow!).

For the backoffice, we made the studio rates tables interactive as well so they had an easier time talking with customers on the phone to provide rates, dimensions and amenities.

After 3 months, the website moved from page 3 to page 1 and 2 depending on which key-phrase was used.
